The other thing is that professional chefs will like to have clogs made be Dansko or Birkenstock. Professional clogs have been known to be more comfortable when standing for long periods of time, to be more durable, and be safer.
Don't forget that the professional chef will also want a coat or jacket that goes with the chef jacket. Many chef jackets are light and will be white to match the regular chef attire. The jacket is good to have on hand for times when you have to go into the walk in cooler or walk in freezer to get food.
