Birki
Birki is another division of the Birkenstock brand. The name sure does sound cute.
In 1999, Birki developed a proprietary featherlight Alpro Cell for clogs. In 2005, Birki clogs received the Red Hot Design award in New York City. Today, this clog design has remained of the most popular around the world.
Birki is probably best known for selling the children's line of shoes for Birkenstock.
In 2007, Birki introduced a soft footbed by putting latex into the anatomically correct cork. The internal latex provides more long term cushion for the foot.
For professional chefs, the Birki brand has helped them by providing superior comfort technology for the clog.
